So My 2F needs rebuilt. Burnt valve and 207,000 so I want to go all in. Who do I use for the rebuild that is not $$$$ any info is good help. Will tear it down to the long block myself and bring it to somone for either just machinging or the whole shabang. Also does anyone know of good rebuild kits if I decide to assemble myslef? Thanks for any info.

You can also get all of your rebuild parts from Gunn in addition to the machine work. They do excellent machine work and their prices are very reasonable. But they dont do final assembly. You can do it thougb, pretty easy and there is lots of help available.

I would first suggest a Rising Sun member who also makes their living by wrenching:

Joe Calleja at Colorado Toyota Specialists (CTS) in Aspen Park. He has been a Rising Sun member for a bazillion years and is a TLCA member business.

Robbie Antonson used to be Christo Slee's chief mechanic, now freelances. He has been a Rising Sun member for a very long time, and is the Tech Editor for TLCA.

Speaking of Christo, I would suggest him except I don't think he works on 2Fs.

I *think* Tim Prewett (sp?) TIMZTOY does side work like that, as does Ben Ashcraft Three Wheel Ben.
