Howdy Folks,

Can anybody recommend an auto tranny shop in the north denver/boulder area?

A friend of mine has a 99 accord with an auto in it that is doing funky stuff and he is looking for options other than having the dealer put in a rebuilt tranny for $4200.

I don't know any auto tranny shops here in Co. so I figured I ask.. He is looking for somewhere to take it to get a second opinion/quote other than the dealer.

Whoa, holy smokes. Can anybody change my thread title to read Recommendations instead of "Retrogradations"?

I think retrogradations will attract more attention.

Unfortunately I don't know of any shops to personally rec' for tranny work. Hoshi has a great reputation but isn't cheap. I used HonAccurate for a head gasket job some years ago. I liked them. It might be worth getting another bid from them.

I have heard Walker Transmissions in arvada Kipling and 50th (aprox) they are across from the Target store. A friend of mine went by and they wanted to give him options instad of costly repairs. Check them out.
