I used to ride there a lot when I lived in frisco. It's a good set of trails. I separated my shoulder on the downhill course. I need proper pads if I'm ging to ride that again.

Well, I was up early and checked the weather and the threat of T-Storms plus opening day(only mid-station down is open) made me decide to go back to sleep. I'm really excited to get some riding in up on the mountains this summer, it's one of the reasons I moved out here for. Riding on the hills back in Jersey and NH left something to be desired.
When I was in Maui I took a pretty relaxing (aside from the part with the huge lava rocks wanting to knock me over and shred my skin) down the Volcano, about a 7,000ft elevation drop from top to bottom. Great ride.

I plan on spending some time in breck riding. I was there for 10 years so I know the area enough to lead some pretty intense rides.
Unfortunately most of the trails I ride don't have lifts! :-)

OH NOES, UPHILL? I've got 35 extra lbs that I dont want to haul uphill, plus I dont think I've got the gearing.

Best way to lose extra lbs you are hauling is going uphill! Those are my plans!
Anyone that wants to come, I am heading up just after the 4th.
