And just to brag, we found this guy chillin on the road during our walk back to the Farmhouse. Assuming it's Ute since they where the ones in the area the most. As late as 1890 for Evergeen area.

Sometimes it pays to not look at the scenery.

Nope.

Ok, i'll give in: We hiked Grass Creek. Accessed via the property. grass Creek is within the Elk Managment Preserve.

Very cool. I also just found one up above 12,000 feet along the Summit Lake trail, a few miles West of where you found that one. There was definitely a lot of hunting activity in the area in the past.

Cool:cool:. Will be keeping an eye out more often now knowing that there was a lot more activity in the area than originaly thought... How is that Summit Lake Trail? After hiking Grass Creek last weekend, thinking I need to get out on the trails more next summer:blah:.
