1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 :thumb:

This is my sixth FJ40 which was purchased for me by my wife three years ago for my birthday. It was supposed to be my LAST FJ40. That was, until we purchased a new Silverado for work, and therefore NEED this "last" FJ40 sold to help in the financing of the new truck. This has been my favorite of the six, and I hate to see her go :(

She is original as they come, with just the right amount of mods to make her super easy to drive - try 80 mph comfortably - and eye catching to both the serious off roader and the collector alike.

Original down to the paint, signals/lights (new head lights), hood/windshield hooks, dash, gauges, etc.

Here are the goods:

Spitfire Small Block Chevy 350 (roughly 1000 miles new)
- Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold
- Edelbrock 650 CFM 4 barrel carb
- New MSD cap/rotor/wires
- HEI distributor
- Headers (old school - outside frame rail)
- K&N Air Filter
- New Auto Tech Oil Pressure
- New Auto Tech Temp
- Original Gas Gauge works
- Original Battery Gauge works

Power Steering
- Saginaw steering box
- GM Reservoir with new AGR Power Steering Pump.
- Welded Tabs/Bolts for Hydraulic Assist on Front Axle

78' Axles Front/Rear (Front discs)
Rancho 9000s
New Rear Axle and Double Cardan rebuild
New Clutch Slave Cylinder
New Rear Drum Brake Pads
New(in box) Kevlar/Metalic Front Brake Pads


Original Bench Seats Front/Rear (Completely Redone!)

SOA - stock springs

Newer (Less than 500 miles) Tires
- 4 37 x 12.50 R 15 Interco IROKS RADIAL!
- 2 Newer/Used Super Swamper SSRs for spares
- 4 12 x 15 WELD Roadhawks.
- 1 8 x 15 Aluminum Spare Rim w/tire

Hard Top/Doors
Bikini Top

The bads:

Needs smaller pulley for accelerated AGR pump (more volume)
Needs shackle bushings
Needs possible master brake cylinder rebuild (startin to need a double-pump)
Spring over axle conversion needs a little attention
Rust on lower part of rear corner panels
- Have brand new polished diamond plate corner panels with plastic coating!
Rust on rear seal
- Have brand new rear seal for replacement.
Doors need new window cranks - original and don't work
Doors will eventually need seals around edges
No door keys
Speedometer is not connected
Windshield wiper motor is in a box works though
Gas filler tube is in need of redirecting, since the addition of the METAL
