Floods washed the bridge out on the ranch and the foreman didnt feel good about letting us ford the river. So, back to Judith Landing for camp. Hey, at least we got one night on the Missouri:).

We had a little meeting about how to seat up camp, knowing we were in Grizzly country when a guy came up (only place cell phones worked) and told us there was a grizzly den a few houndred yards below the camp. some more talk between the group and we decided to head back to town and at least have dinner (there was no way we were going to be cooking in camp) and go from there.

Just was figuring that it being a sacred Native American site, I should maybe not be posting them all over the internet.

understood. Its not a permission issue, its a publicity issue. This site is on all the maps and in the guidebook which is how we found it, so while its still your personal decision, I don't think you would be doing anything inappropriate.
