was a blast again. sema isn't as good as i remember, so it will most likely be my last and snt is now officially in the books. good, cause it's dang expensive to drive out there. about $730 in fuel and just under 2500 miles. well worth it tho. i was on the edge of the canadian camp in the green/white trashish/white trash camp and couldn't have stayed with better folks. the canadian kevins, bk and family, mace, and dhondagods crew were all good campmates (except for bk lighting off explosives under my tent;) )

a few pics from the trip.

gotta be proud of the first pic...that fire truck is a local c-town rig!
i was thinking that the smart car would be a nice xmas present for uncle ben:D

and onto the sand! the obligatory poser shot.
not a beach person, but hard not to enjoy the view. i rode with pighead all weekend, so viewing the beach out the door of a pig is even better.
pighead, bk and i took off for a quick ride up the dunes. it was really quick when he peeled the tread off his tire.
mace whipping up one of his many famous harrow disc dishes.
bk wasn't going to let a tire stop him...fixed that and peeled his roof from the a pillar...nothing a chunk of wood won't fix

not to let the roof and tire hold him back, bill went back out to play
and put the fan into the radiator and popped the windshield out.
and let's not forget the fact that the entire front of the cruiser was loose ;) i understand that while testing this fix, he rolled the pig. that is his normal test procedure
the camp
one of them funny Canadian guys

not pismo without a shot of pismo jims rig
lining up for the poker run. greg and i didn't win, but i think my one 9clubs card was definitely the low hand
went to watch some jumping the bowl
gary caught air, hopefully faring better than the last snt
we even got to be a tow point for marv specter and friends

11-12-2011, 12:29 PM
getting ready to wave for a jump....nope.
jesse, another pig owner, let all the go smoke from under his hood escape, so we tried to rescue him from the bottom of the bowl, bill was coordinating the four rigs that it took to pull him out.
this guy was the only major injury that i know of. the cruiser fared pretty good, needing just a windshield frame and glass
pighead and another cruiserhead were medical professionals and quick to respond..i love how the paramedic's just standing there.
mere hours later, i was in a blinding snowstorm.....

Great write-up, Ige. Do you think that others will organize the event going forward or is it truly done?

Christo, the Sleemousine is just silly fun. That video was great.

Cool pics Ige and nice write up. I can't believe BK he just trashes that poor truck everytime he is out there.

Great report Ige, and thanks for pictures. A sharp contrast to the mountains and desert we're used to.

i'm sure others will still gather, don't know if it will be the same. jim set up events within the event.
