Can anyone suggest and recommend a place to get a tent with a busted zipper repaired?

I used Boulder Mtn Repair in the past, but their voicemail says they have shut their doors. I've tried calling Ripstop Repair several times in the last few weeks, and no one answers and the mail box is full.

What else is out there?

Phyliss at Stichlines in Englewood. It can take a while, but this is all she does and her work is highly recommended by others on the board.

Stitchlines. There is (or was) a seamstress at the downtown REI who might be less backlogged but can't say since I've never worked with anyone but Phyllis.

Matt...If you want...I can drop stuff off for you at Patagonia in Lodo. I work blocks away from there.

Stitchlines gets a second vote. Been using her for years. Her business is in the phone book under that name. She is located on Broadway 2 blocks south of Hampden.

Huh - my uncle works with Ron at Boulder Mtn Repair, helps him out sometimes, and I just talked with my uncle a couple weeks ago and it sounded like Ron was still rockin' and rollin'

When I needed to fix a separating zipper on my tent the REI repair desk said they no longer replaced zippers but that for that issue most of the time it was a worn out pull. I found a repair kit, replaced the pull and its good as new.

I sent my 20-year-old tent into Sierra Designs and they repaired it for free. What brand is it?

Have you tried squeezing the zipper with a pair of pliers? I've been amazed at how well it can work.

Thanks for the tips. I guess I need to try some pliers first.
