MIA for about 50% of the trail or so. Still had a blast and enjoyed ourselves but would have loved to have about a foot of fresh snow. Maybe in a few weeks we go again ;)

That looks like a blast. Hopefully we'll be moved by then as I'd love to join you guys.

Thanks Scott for putting together another great day trip. The weather was great; a bit too windy for sledding at the top but we got a few runs in anyway....

I came home short one D-ring, so if anyone picked up an extra let me know.

Thanks Scott for another great SNP run. It was really fantastic. Just add a little more snow next time. Looking forward to some week day wheeling.

Thank you, Scott. I saw a lot of smiles out there on your trail run yesterday.

I though the pace was really good. I got to drive all the way to alice, all over yankee hill, up the glacier...basically every part of the main trail. It was REALLY fun.

Thanks to the big dogs for breaking the drifts down for us too. I only had to winch once...Then I aired down. Then it was WAY more fun!

I heard really good use of the ham and cb radios to keep track of the fractured groups. It was nice to know where each of the main groups were at along the trail to prevent one group from meeting another head-to-head on the trail in a bad spot. (Treeroot and Ige did a great job here.)

Thanks again. I hope everyone had 1/2 as much fun as I did. Sorry no pictures. (No reason to put up a Jeep picture here!)

That was a fun day. Probably about 20 rigs. The first group went ahead and had fun breaking trail all the way to the top. The main group with me was too large to keep together with people have problems. It was pretty slow going for the hour as we tried to wait for the rear. With Raltson and Rudy on the radio with the rear group we decided to just continue.

Next time I will provide maps for people and try to split up people into groups with leaders with good radios. That should help keep people moving.

The firs group left the snow him in the playground for me to bust. Thank you. :thumb: I posted a video of FJDan and I busting it. It was pretty hard snow. One of the guys in an FJ had to strap a very large Hummer.

We all eventually made it to the very top where the first group had been playing for a while. Some left early. I took the main group back down the way we came and showed them the rock quarry which we all played in. After meeting back at the cemetery some went home and some went on to Beau Jo's for Pizza which worked out well. I planned for 30 people but we had just under 20. So we all took pizza home. Good fun.
