$2000

This is a 2004 tacoma engine with roughly 100k on it. I can get exact mileage for those who are interested. It has a 5speed computer with it.

It comes with:

-Alternator

-Powersteering set up for an IFS box

-Fan and belts

-Starter

-INGEN air intake for the 3.4L sensors and hoses, no filter

-Downey Ceramic coated headers with crossover, and a stock manifold set up with crossover. The downey crossover is set up for older trucks with a driver exhaust drop, the stock is stock, with a passenger drop.

Flywheel and centerforce clutch

This engine was used in a swap to an 89 4runner with a 3.0L engine. If you have a first gen 4runner or 2nd gen pickup from the late 80's with a 3.0L, I also have an Offroad Solutions harness that will make this swap plug and play. That is an extra 300.

I also have an R151F transmission with a 3.4L bellhousing for 800

I am open to negotiation, so make a reasonable offer, and we can talk.

It's OK, Tom, you would have to do a lot of fab to make it work...

Just trying to ease the pain... :lmao:

Holy hell!! Where was this 6 months ago? I lost my 3.0 and bought one from that place in Co. Springs. Ended up costing $1,800 and it's still a 3.0.

Just how easy of a swap is this? I have a few bucks lying around yet but not a lot of time to do a messy swap.

In a 3.0 truck, it is very easy. Everything bolts up. I also know a guy who can build you a harness that makes it plug and play.

Exhaust relocate and details....rest is plug and play. Couple folks out there making harnesses if you don't want to.

Our own TheFatKid (who isn't... go figger) being one of them.

The fat kid is exactly who I am referencing. And the exhaust relocate is already done, as noted in the first post.

How much is a harness? Isaac, can you tell me what else I would need to complete this swap? I know the engine mounts need to be redone and I think a new radiator. Basicly what would I be looking at to make this happen in my truck AND if I wanted to run an automatic transmission??

Hi-jack but not really.... No mystery by now that I put a tuned, URD enhanced, supercharged 3.4 in Wild Rice. I just broke it outta the garage and went to the car wash to blow of mud/dirt from the last time I had it out. I'll have perma grin for a couple days again! That little beast screams....plain and simple. I lit up the 40's a tad for kicks and silly me....I nailed it all the way and smoked 'em all the way to the stop sign! To bring this back to the tread.....find the cash....YOU WANT A 3.4!:bowdown::zilla::thumb::thumb::D

You would need to redo the motor mounts, find a computer for an automatic transmission, find a transmission, buy adapters to get your dual cases to work with the A340 (the auto you need), and the harness you would need to talk to thefatkid about, as the last I heard from him, he builds them for 300 bucks.

Radiator I'm not sure on. You may be able to get away with what you have, you'd have to check into it.

I'm not sure if you need an oil pan or not. Your truck is really tall, so it may be that your suspension never gets close to the oil pan, but if it does, you need a 2wd T100 pan, which is about 130 from Toyota, or if you are very lucky, you can get one from the yard.

Tom, buy the 151 and run with it. You will want the oil pan, and relocated dipstick and pickup tube. You will need to move the drivetrain forward about 3-4", but since you are making motor mounts anyway that isn't that big a deal. New driveshaft lengths, just cut and weld your existing. You need a V6 radiator from radiator.com or equal. I think you already have a bit of body lift. So you are nearly there dood.

You know you want to... :D
