Full-time topless FJ40. Garaged in Winter but want a Summer-time cover. Anyone have one for sell or can recommend something for me to buy?

Thanks

You want a full cover or just a cab cover or ??

Years ago some guy on MUD was making and selling a trail cover that covered from the windshield back and fit over a roll bar. Something you would use say while camping overnight. I think I was one of the few lucky ones that actually got one of these because the guy turned out to be flaky. He started out making these and soft tops for older model Broncos first and based on what I read, screwed a LOT of people out of money :(. Anyway, maybe someone else is making something similar. Here is the MUD thread and there are some pics so you can see what the cover looks like. Post #80 has pics and then later some folks that got covers posted up pics. Mine is somewhere in the garage I think

You could probably find someone locally to make something similar for you...

I also have a full car cover but I'm not sure if it is designed for outdoor use  - as I recall it is more for garage storage. I've never actually used it either

Anyway, car covers are readily available on the web but you probably won't be able to find anything made specifically for a 40, but you can find ones that will fit.

Another thought would be to get something like a SOR summer top and maybe have a shop add sides to it and turn it into a cover that you can easily remove.

If you just want the interior cover get one off Flea Bay for a CJ-7. They full cage FJ-40's pretty well! Like THIS (http://www.ebay.com/itm/SmittyBilt-Cab-Cover-W-O-Door-Flap-Gray-Fits-Jeep-76-86-CJ7-/220940576593?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3ACJ7&vxp=mtr&hash=item337115a751#ht_3433wt_1344) one.

CCOT sells one too. And I'm sure Specter does too.
