Hello Rising Sun wheelers!

Been wanting to participate in a Cruise Moab event for the past few years and finally, work schedule allows for it. Had registered for CM12 and thought I should check-in with you folks here. Thanks to the CM committee for organizing the event and looking forward to wheeling with y'all.

Some pics of my '07 FJ Cruiser, Trail Snail:

Welcome to the forum and welcome to CM12. You have a nice looking rig there, looks like it is pretty capable.

Why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself and your rig. What all have you done to it and also what trails you plan on running. That way the people on the same trails can get to know you already :thumb:

We'll see you in Moab

Welcome. That is a clean rig. You should meet my friend RedChili. You two can have a shiniest truck contest. :)

Thank you Randy. See you there!

.... Why don't you tell us a little bit about yourself and your rig. What all have you done to it and also what trails you plan on running...:

I bought this FJ Cruiser in May '06, drove it stock for a year, then started the build and taking it on the trails, and still loving the truck after all these years for all the fun activities it has allowed me to participate in. I'm particularly proud to be involved in our SoCal FJ Cruisers Adopt-A-Trail team. Under the leadership of FJamming, who will be coming to CM also, the club adopted two trails in the San Bernardino National Forest (Big Bear area). This was our latest trail-maintenance day, with the report starting at post #128: http://www.socalfjcruiserforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8912. Besides off-roading, I also love snowboarding and sailing Lasers. I gotta have my weekly fix of either snow or water :)

About the Cruiser:
- TRD supercharger, aFe CAI, Safari snorkel, dual batt, re-geared to 4.56, front A-TRAC, rear factory locker
- 315 75 16 BFG KM2s
- Front: Donahoe Racing 2.5" coil overs (about 3" lift), bump-stops, and UCA
- Rear: Icon Vehicle Dynamics piggy-back shocks, panhard bar, and upper and lower links, Light Racing bump stops
- All-Pro front and rear bumpers and sliders, Bud-Built skids
- All-Pro airdam with Baja Designs' Sol-Tek lights
- Warn 9.5 XP winch with MasterPull synthetic line

For CM12, I had signed up for Poison Spider Mesa for Thurs, Hells Revenge for Friday, and Golden Spike for Sat. Back-up trails include Gold Bar Rim, Moab Rim, and Cliff Hanger. I was wondering when we will find out which trails we actually get? From all the awesome pictures I've seen, I really hope to be able to run Hells Revenge and Golden Spike. Oh and, so far, I know of a total of 6 SoCalers coming to CM.
