I have a 40 series skidplate, but it appears to be from a 4spd truck and I need an early 3 speed one to fit my 45. Anybody have one they want to trade? I'll see if I can post a pic so we can identify mine...maybe I do have a 3spd and it's just that my exhaust is run differently.

The issue with the one I have is clearing the exhaust pipe....there is a flange that hits it and I don't want to chop anything.

Here's a pic of it. IIRC, it's the "tab" in the upper left on this photo that was the problem. Sure, I can cut if off, but I didn't want to be forcing a 4spd skid onto a 3spd collector truck if I could help it. Can anyone verify that this is in fact a 4spd item?

not sure if this is what you need ....
if so the guy's in the springs..here's the mud link:

...now that I see them side by side they look like the same item .... which would mean that the one in your pic is a 3 spd skid not 4....

Hmmm....guess that means I trim/bend that tab and finish it up.
