I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but for the folks that fallow the photography corner, I just lost "one of my best friends" KODIAK. what a blow, didn't see this coming, i'm and my wife as well are still shocked. HE WILL BE MISSED!

So sorry to hear about Kodiak. You can never really be prepared for these things, even when they are expected. It doesn't really help with the pain, but know that thanks to you & your wife, he got to live the sort of life all dogs dream of. We should all be so lucky.

Right now I can't determine weather,if a PET or a LOVED ONE that you lose hurts more, loved one meaning father,mother daughter,son. I hope you get what i'm saying,KODIAK was one of my children. i'm still crying.

Sorry for your loss. We all love our 4 legged family members and these sort of posts over the years remind me to appreciate my pups every time.

So sorry, it gets better with time but that is no help now. Dukie and Kodiak can play together now.

well,just a little over a year now, my family has lost another great friend. her name was JET or MOOSEY as we called her. she was a 14 year old german shepard/mix, we think mabye a little wolf in her,but not sure. she peacfully at home tonight after playing and eating dinner, SHE WILL BE MISSED.

Lars, really sorry to read about your loss of a great pal. Having lost Nell, my once in a lifetime dog in February, I know how much it hurts and how much you miss her. Your place is probably too quiet now, ours sure is.

i'm sorry man, thats got to be tough. we've never had to deal with that thank god, but i got this 13 year old sheepdog laying next to me right now, so someday i know i will!
