Hello friends and unknown guests.

It's official (in a completely unofficial sort of way), I will be leading a second annual Long Way Home for anyone heading to points east from Moab. Here is the scoop. We will meet at SRCG and be ready to depart by noon on Sunday. (I will have the Black 100 series and the Adrenalin Camper) Our route will take us down the scenic Utah highway 128. We will leave the pavement at Onion Creek and follow the road up and over descending John Brown Canyon into Gateway. We will stop at the Paradox Grill for lunch and goodbyes and then take the scenic route down the beautiful Colorado highway 141 to Whitewater. Those headed to Denver can go left and be in GJ in 20 minutes and those headed south can take highway 50. I hope you can make it for another day out in my back yard.

Here is a bit of a list of those who are planning on coming. I'll add new names as I get them.

Jonathan Harris - 100 Series
James Wilson - 80 Series
Matt Burmaster - 80 Series
Spressomon - 100 Series
Dave W. - FJC
Billb596 - 80 Series
Leiniesred - JK

Just do it.

This year I may just go home Sunday AM because I'll have been out all week already. Depending on my departure time I may holler at you Friday night. There will be some folks at Rabbit Valley.

Doh! Thanks for pointing that out. I too just assumed that Sunday was mother's day cause it was that way last year. Adventure on!

Ok guys. It's on like king kong in a wigwam. Here is the deal. I've talked to more interested people than I care to remember. :) we shall meet at the tech inspection area in SRCG. I plan on being there at 11:00 and leaving at 11:32. Please let your friends know and let's get it going. Look it the black 100 towing the Adrenalin!!!

Great time on the Long Way Home. Thanks to those who attended, It was another great group of people. 7 trucks representing 12 people made their way up Onion Creek, Through Hideout Canyon along the Kokopelli Trail and Down John Brown for an excellent late lunch at the Paradox Grille in gateway. The drive turned to pavement as we traveled to Grand Junction via Unaweep Canyon for a great end to an epic week.
