Wonder if the club has any sponsors you should buy from?

It's too bad UA is not around anymore. Powertank has the most product and selection. I'm sure google will turn up some smaller resellers.

Biggest thing you want is a high flow regulator. you could use a beer one but it's be slower. lower flow ones will freeze up too.

You could always build your own. Any alum C02 tank you can return will work. Liquor barn on broadway has returnable c02 filled. a fixed regulator or even one from powertank and a hose.

I got mine in a group buy through the Land Cruiser Mailing List about 10 years ago, but I think you can still get them through Cramer Decker in CA. It was way less $$ than a Powertank and works great. I think the tank was like $30 and the regulator was about $35. The regulator pressure is set by a spring inside, they threw in an 80 pound spring in case I wanted to drop from the 150# it came with.

Sweet Wes,
I won a 40% off certificate for a power tank at the Raffle. That still makes it $278 bucks.. and this deal is only $22 more than that....

Just got that too. I'd go that route. I've had my old power tank reg for a long time with no issues. They do have a trade in program if you ever want or need to upgrade in the future. I've been thinking about it even though mine still works fine.

Powertank regulators are not just rebadged units. They are designed for the application. That, coupled with a lifetime warranty is a pretty good deal.

Sweet Wes,

that was supposed to mean I just got that deal in email. not I got one on the way. I put together a tank 2 years ago.

As christo notes a good regulator built for airing up tires and not freezing is key.

I spoke to Bob at Power Tank earlier, and used the 40% off certificate i won in the raffle to get a system for less than the deal you posted.. But that deal is 35% off retail .... so it is a good one.
Bob said they just sent out the e-mail system this morning, and had 20 of them sold by 3:00, so i don't think they will last long....
