Hi all,

I have a 71ish F engine for sale (don't recall the exact date but could track it down again from the engine number, and a 76 4 speed for sale.

Both worked perfectly when I pulled them, except I grenaded the Clutch. So when it came time to fix, I instead pulled for a hoped for upgrade of a 2F & 5Speed upgrade.

accidentally posted early somehow. I don't have any compression numbers, but as I said it ran well when pulled. If you have questions, ask, as I don't know what else to say about them. $300 each, unless someone tells me that price is either too good or too bad (but it seems fair I think). The only thing not included in the pics is one piece of Tin from the engine that directs hot air, as someone asked for it back in the day (Marco I think, but I'll have to do some digging to figure it out). Pics are attached. I will sell either seperately, but don't want to part out stuff off of either of them.
Best,
Abe

2F valve cover and later carb - a 71 has mechanical secondary and that one has the vacuum secondary. But it is a cable throttle and not mechanical. The hot air thingie is a 2F deal, the F type air cleaner doesn't have the port on the underside like the 2F air cleaner housing does. The actual doo dad (I forget Toyota's term for it) that bolts to the exhaust manifold is officially unobtanium. I tried to buy one from Stevinson for my 60 and they're discontinued.

Abe,
I am interested in your for sale engine as I have a '70 fj40 w/o the head. Please let me know if it is still available...

Thanks

Looks like a '75-'76 carb. The "tin" is the Hot Air Intake...shield I guess.

My 76 is mechanical linkage, I think 75 is too. Maybe it's a 73-74ish?

I see brackets and sockets for mechanical linkage on that carb. Not sure what you're seeing that's cable?
