I just installed the factory exhaust manifold on my FJ40. It's a '78. I'm told the exhuast shop will need the flange that bolts to it to build the new exhaust because it is unobtainium.

Does anyone have an old fj40 exhaust pipe laying around? I'd like to get it today or tomorrow if at all possible.

Sorry I don't have the piece you're looking for but I'm curious which shop you're using? Looks like I'm going to need some exhaust work as well- H55 mount is in the way of the original pipe!!!

sweet thanks mike.

travis - there is a thread on this board that mentions a few shops that people really like and that know the ends and outs of 4x4/custom/high clearance exhaust systems. I'm not sure where I'll end up yet?

Kipper, do you want to see if the exhaust on a 1964 has the same flange? The one Travis gave me has one on it.

Edit: 1958-12/74.... Not the same :(

The earlier F flanges use two bolts and the later 2F ones use 3. The 2F is also a larger diameter, uses a different donut.
