I'm new in every sense. New to the forum and new to the hobby/4x4 life style so your patience with my ignorance is appreciated.

I am trying to diagnose/trouble shoot a new problem with my '93 4runner V6. Just recently she started kicking out some bluish exhaust when the engine is under load. (It idles perfectly and without issue) So it seems to be burning some oil but I can't figure out the exact cause.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help.

what kind of mileage? rings are usually suspect

Check the PCV valve, just as a matter of course, and the rest of the PCV system. As Ige implied, if the truck has a ton of miles on it, then rings are a possible source of the problem.

3.0 mystery motor..
enough said... lol

but yea what nuckularmellon (iggy) said.
do you have any oil consumption ? low oil, if so a compression check would be the next diag check. if you have low numbers add a few cc's of engine oil to the low cylinders and check compression again.. if the numbers go up, then you have bad rings or head gaskets. then there is also a leak down test you can do if you still at a stump in the road.
