So I took a couple of hours this morning and helped out my neighbor by being on the other side of the lens. He needed a cyclist for a TV ad for the Volvo dealership that they want to run once the Tour starts. Fun morning with a few takes and some voice overs. As a bonus, I got to go full on camera geek since the guys shooting the ad were using a Red Scarlet.

So, if you're flipping the channels in a couple of weeks and come across an ad with a cyclist dressed in black on a back road in Broomfield, that's me and my 30 seconds of fame... :hill:

Absolutely love that bike. I think I'll be buried with it.

Fat Chance and a Seven?!? I hope you're garage is locked... :hill:

When I started racing at 13 or 14, I got hooked up with Davis Phinney, Bob Roll and a bunch of the other original 7Eleven guys. After that I trained with Martin Graf (yes, related to Steffi Graf :thumb:). His big motivator for finishing intervals was that he'd introduce us to Steffi. Never happened though.

Met Lemond and Indurain on the road one winter in San Diego. Both of them were super cool and hung with my little group for a few miles to chat.
