Found this in the Denver Post classifieds today:

"1987 TOYOTA LANDCRUISER. FJ60. 135K miles. Wrecked. The passenger side and roof are badly damaged, and I don't think it's repairable, but it has many useful parts, including the 2F engine (good compression when checked at 125K miles) and transmission. The frame is still straight, as well. I have taken a few parts, including the alternator and a steering rod, off for use on my drivable '86 Cruiser, but it's otherwise pretty intact. The truck is white with brown interior. It cannot be driven. I am asking $1200 but am flexible on the price. Please call me with any questions at 303-931-6205 or at 303-402-1087."

It's listed at $900 in the print edition.

Thx!
Chris Colangelo

There's a picture of it in the online version of the classifieds. White, pretty well mushed in right side...

Does soemone have a place to dismantle it? My driveway is too steep and my garage is full of another cruiser being dismantled.

We could try my place but it's in Greeley so maybe not the best for everyone...

hullunder - I have been thinking about it this afternoon and the only part I really need is the PS gear box and any extra PS parts I can get. I will happily purchase those if you or the buyer want to part out, but I have to be realistic, I have too much going on right now to get into dismantling another vehicle.

PM me for a phone number I wont put it on a public board.

Hey,
I don't really have the cash to buy anything, but you guys are welcome to use my place to dismantle it (so long as we don't leave the wreck sitting on my property forever). I live in Boulder Canyon, one mile up Magnolia, so it wouldn't be too hard to get it here. I don't have a garage, but I don't think the truck is going to be hurt by sitting out in the weather for a few more weeks. Just let me know.

Speaking of which, I am pretty sure he'd let it go for well under what he's been asking, probably somewhere close to what this 87 is going for.
