Thanks for the pics. Does that multi-colored 45 have an aluminum body?

Thanks for the pics. Does that multi-colored 45 have an aluminum body?

I'm pretty sure it does. I've heard a little bit about this build Justin has going on.

Yep. Aqualu 45 body, with an 8" (?) stretch. The bed is also aluminum, as are the fenders and aprons.

It's going to be a very pretty truck when it's all said and done, by the looks of it!

Great turnout, good time.

Big thanks to Rocky Mountain Cruisers (http://www.rockymountaincruisers.com/), Cruiser Outfitters (http://cruiseroutfitters.com/) and Stay the Trail (http://staythetrail.org/) for their generous raffle donations!

The merchandise sales were a big hit too, I think we emptied 3 or 4 bins worth of shirts and hoodies and many many magazines and stickers.

here's some pics

Definitely not mine. Not my style at all.

But I did take a good gander at that tub. Might be useful for me someday in the future...

The 45 is a build I am having Justin building for one of my clients here in Pagosa Springs. He (my client) fell in love with my fj 45.5, and wanted me to build him a simular one. He wanted me to build it like I wanted it, and I chose Justin to build it as I do not have the time, energy, or talent to do it.
Justin and the guys are doing a great job, and it will be a very nice rig when finished. It will show off their unique, well thought out designs, and be a nice feather in their hat for sure.
Now.................. Get er done ! :)

can't remember who came up to me about my email for winning the cruiser outfitters gift cert (dave maybe?), do i need to get something from you for the certificate?

We were wondering the same thing. It is a very clean rig.

Dave Kaiser has the original certs on his laptop. We tried to print them out using the CM printer from the trailer but it wouldn't cooperate. Prolly a j**p printer anyhoo.

But yeah, get ahold of Dave for the originals.

Here are my pictures - they're pretty lame. When I wasn't working the admission/merchandise table I was socializing. But I got a couple shots.

Here is Tom working his food stand.

Kraig, Mike and Mike working the admissions/registration table. I have to say a lot of people really helped out a lot - give yourselves a big pat on the back for helping to make this such a successful event. And a huge shout-out to Mike Koons for bringing the trailer down, helping set up, helping tear down and pack the trailer and hauling it back up the hill, and storing it for us. Thank you Mike!

I didn't realize it until I chatted with Christo at the Rally, but he didn't build this limo. Some Limo company built is and it got used as a limo for a while before Christo bought it and repainted it with all his stuff.

A lot of folks had already left before I really started taking some pictures. These are just kind of random:

Good job, Jeff. Looked like a good time was had by all. Bart was so happy to be there after some minor sugery, he just had to pee all over.

Bart was so excited......duh. :lmao:

I think the water was coming from Tom's Taco Wagon and Bart was downhill from there, that's all.
You guys sell the 62 rear driveshaft?

Hey Sascha, it was not too hard, but thank you. I had a lot of help from a lot of club members, including you. Many hands make light of large tasks. The main thing was that people enjoyed themselves. I know I did. Thanks to Mike and Mike (Simpson and Davidson) I got a major mid-day spell and was able to make the rounds and socialize with all my friends, both new and old.

Huge thanks to Ige and Mike for starting this thing and getting the heavy lifting done those first couple of years. Once the ball's rolling it is a lot easier for others to take over, just like Cruise Moab.

Note to current Rising Sun members - we did good. I am going to post up in the members-only section just how good we did.

Love the black mail shot..

Kinda jumping threads here, but do any of you guys have info about the FJ45 LWB on the trailer in one of these shots?

I never got the owner's name or number -_-

Any info is appreciated!

P.S - The Rally was great! The Mule loved the attention ;)

Last year there was a couple who had a Canadien military trailer for sale...I lost the info last year, and wasn't able to make it this year. Were they there...with the trailer?? Still for sale? Or did I miss out?

I know Jeff got some help but without him stepping up and taking charge like he did, I don't think there would have been a 2012 Rally :o - Thanks to Jeff and thanks to all of the others that helped out :thumb:
