Would love to have made it. Had a carb/idling problem come up last week and spent Saturday rebuilding it.

Had the good fortune to be able to join the group for the Saturday run up to the Sneffels trailhead. Had a great time-- what an exceptional group of people!

Ouray is one of those special places on earth. Thanks to Mike & Katy, Steve & Sarah, BJ & Kathy, Brian & Heather, Dennis & Denise, Alex & Jodi and Barry for making for a couple days of fun runs. Even more fun was had at the Pot Luck.

Thanks for posting pics guys.

Gunning both days made it easy, if I got a little behind it was easy to catch up. Small group and easy going pace.

Any more details on that '63 FJ40? What did it have for drivetrain/mods?

I know it had a small block Chevy V-8, but I'm not sure about the tranny other than it was a manual. Maybe Powers knows. He was talking with both of the 40's guys, Alex and Dennis, quite a bit.

SBC, SM420, toy box, 3spd case, I am pretty sure he had the 2to1 toy box combined with the 420's granny 6to1 he can go real slow. Alec did a real nice job on his truck super clean build.
