In the most public way possible I wanted call Wes out and extend this offer:. :hill:

I would like to trade you, and/or purchase your BJ70! I know you posted in my Vehicle ID thread that I should come over with a large stack of money and take the 70 if I ever feel so inclined - well I do :D

Shoot me your magic number, or I have a Mule with your name on it.

Best regards,

If you have a pile of money....I have a 45 you might want if wes says no. Heh....

A 45 is next on my Yota list. But I really, really, really, really wanna get a BJ70 and make another monster.

I see something on the horizon...maybe a Mini-Mule? ....That isn't Smurth Blue...and is a diesel...

He has been looking at a personal 100....maybe he will bite.. Did you sell the Mule? Guess not.

Caribou - Yeah I heard he's been thinking about getting rid of it. Maybe he'll take the bait ;)

No I can't seem to stir any interest up, at least beyond the half a dozen spam emails I get a day from all the marine engineers who want to buy it for their father or son and will pay me with PayPal :p:

Somewhat frustrating since I have an awesome truck lined up, but I'm literally stuck with the Mule.

appreciate the offer. I'm not interested in trade.

Well how much would you need to let it go?

Figure I might as well ask.

I bet if you drove over in a new 200 series as a trade that Wes might bite :D

Then again, that is awfully modern for Wes and he might not even like the way they look...

Why do you want a BJ70? I thought I had to have one too till I briefly had a 1990 HZJ73 cabrio. I'm over the diesel bug now.

If you really want one there are some folks on Mud/Expo to talk to that could put you on the trail of a nice BJ.

Hmmm...better fuel mileage is the main reason. You should see how many gallons the 80 guys burn compared to me when we are out in the desert. I don't even carry fuel cans anymore. Of course, I'm referring to the 4 cylinder variants and not the 6. Put a 1hz in an 80 series, and yeah, what's the point?
