I am looking into moving north to either the Durango or Paracute area. Anyone have connections with the oil and gas companies near Durango or Parachute? Particularly: Williams, XTO, or WPX. All my oil and gas connections are down in SE New Mexico.

I applied to Williams Midstream for a job as an Environmental Specialist in Parachute. As always, it always helps to know someone who knows someone.

Thanks.

I don't know anyone in the Oil & Gas business but I'm in Durango if you have any general questions :thumb:

I am not fully connected over there anymore, but could probably still help out some. I worked for BBC for 8 years there & still know some of the guys with WPX, BBC, Encana, etc. Any word from them yet?

Sorry guys for the delay in responding. Here is an update:

No word from Williams Midstream.
Wife has a preliminary job offer in Durango. A move to Durango may be in the near future
Applied to XTO Energy out of Aztec. I have done environmental consulting for XTO down in Carlsbad area
Dropped a resume to Ecosphere in Durango.

If my wife gets the job in Durango I can still work for my current employer as I am in the process of closing an oil field near Chromo and working on an oil field waste permit south of Ignacio for WPX.

In summary, if anyone has connections in the environmental/oil & gas industry please PM me. Corbet, I will PM you in the next few weeks.

Encana is doing a lot of exploratory drilling for oil shale. Please PM me your contact info and I will call you if that is ok. Thanks.
