From Onur (beno):

I talked to them on the phone the other day, and he said they were trying to get rid of all their Diesel engines. I didn't think anything of it, but when you do a liquidation like that, one has to think they might be wrapping things up... Does anyone know if that's the case?

I heard something in the past about how they were bought out. And the company is out of salt lake or somewhere in Utah. But anyways it was they will have the two locations and over time start to phase out the Colo location. But not totally sure if that's the story. Wish I had the $$$ for a Diesel engine though.

Holy Ballz...this could be worth a road trip with an enclosed trailer, which I have. Looks like about a 9 hour road trip to Tooele, Utah from Monument. I'd be interested in a 5.3 LQ4 engine for my camaro if the price is right. We could get a bunch of stuff to cover the gas.

I dunno....that is a long way over there.

definitely interesting. get a group together to go out and pool money for the trip expenses.

I mean "67 40' containers full of parts"? That's like a dream come true. Too bad I don't have 10 grand laying around...thats a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Might be interested in some decent front doors for my 40

really odd.

I've talked to Onur. They are no longer wanting to be in the junk yard parts business. I think Proffitt's will still be around, but I am not sure at this point.

they will definitely still be around the county told Greg to clean up the bone yard out start getting fined. so the stuff they are cleaning up is just that. I bought a bunch of random 40 stuff I needed great price and onur is awesome. the containers have a bunch of really clean nice stuff too. I'm sure the containers will be around a bit longer than the bone yard.

Man, I'd love to source a 45 bed and or a diesel engine for the 40... but alas it is most likely a pipe dream.

I'd like to get a Toyota diesel to swap into my 80. I wonder how much that would cost. Any idea?
