Folks listing site numbers are talking about sites at slick rock camp ground. You reserve those spots separately and can do it now.

There are some folks who found our registration pathway through google (and who knows what other spiders). We will try to make a fair and balanced outcome for all our enthusiastic guests! Some may have to go to the back of the line, but we think most everyone will have a wonderful experience.

Happy cruisin'!

Yep, 170 registered vehicles/drivers. Max passengers is based on what you can legally carry in your vehicle. Some trails have BLM etc. fees that need to be collected on a per trail/per occupant basis so just make sure you let the folks know if you end up with passengers so they can collect the correct fees.

Cool! I notice HZJ75 in your sig line. I used to take my HZJ75 to Moab every year and break something. One year it was pretty spectacular and I won the 8-Ball award. If you aren't familiar with the awards we give out at Cruise Moab, the 8-Ball award is the one you DO NOT want to win. :p:

Haha! I don't know what it is but I can use my imagination and would love to hear the story this year over a beer. ;)

The troopy will be there, though I am going to take it easy and hopefully not break anything :knockonwood:

I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of new folks and

I shared it on the Land Cruiser Mailing List in 4 parts. It was entitled "How I won the 8-Ball Award". That was Cruise Moab 2002. Below is a picture of that rig on Poison Spider Mesa.

Love that truck! Do you no longer have it?

I will have to find mailing list parts and enjoy the read.

I traded it straight-up for my 1978 FJ45. The HZJ75 was a 1997, and when I got it in 2000 it was too new to import legally unless I spent big bucks having it converted and certified to DOT/NHTSA specs for a 1997. My friend I bought it from kept renewing the Alberta plates for me every year until we worked out the swap. That story appeared in Toyota Trails some time in 2005, entitled "The Worst Kept Secret".

It only had 14k miles on it when I got it, the speedo and odo read out in miles instead of kms and it was left hand drive. Very nice truck!

I was hoping to have that done this past weekend, but just got home from being hospitalized. Working on it right now, but catching up on emails and forum traffic as well.

I just got my trail assignments and are you not offering Hella on Thursday or did I just not make the cut. The reason I ask is that the first and second choice where not chosen and I got my third.

Not running it. We only had 3 people ask for it on Thursday. Thursday was kinda weird this year. Besides Hell's being thinly requested on Thursday, Metal Masher, Behind the Rocks and Sevenmile were also unpopular on that particular day. It always varies from year to year and we never know what trails are going to be run for sure until the registrations come in.

Hi Brian, I do not have you down to lead any trails right now. I have leaders for your first two trails, E-Hill Thursday and Fins Friday, however I do not have a leader down for your Saturday trail Poison Spider. Could you lead that trail that day? There are currently 13 rigs on that trail that day. Thanks and happy cruisin'!
