View Full Version : I need stock rear leafs for a 84-88 minitruck

or 4Runner. I am building a trailer out of the aft portion of a 1985 minitruck frame. Sadly, the rear leafs are partly worn through, I've never seen that before! I would fear a broken leaf, on a trailer that would not be fun.
To make matters worse, I had two complete sets of the leafs I need now, only three weeks ago. But my lovely bride determined they needed to go to the recyclers.... sheesh. But I digress.
Even a slight lift would be ok.

I measured the rear springs off my 80 and they were 44" eye to eye. Doesnt sound right but they don't have any load on them either.

Hmmm... 44" pretty short. I don't think they will work. Isotel, I think yours should work, PM me and we'll figure out how I will get them. You could bring them to the Rally, but I'd like to pick them up earlier if possible. I gotta have the trailer ready to haul pipe and concrete up to Yankee Doodle Lake on the 25th.
