I will be heading over from Atlanta on this route:

https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Woodstock,+GA&daddr=Slick+Rock+Campground,+1301+N+Hwy+191,+Moab,+UT+84532&hl=en&sll=36.966675,-97.091725&sspn=28.1079,34.584961&geocode=Fe9YCAIdMVb2-in9oBg9Fxf1iDH3AJnzJDBMnQ%3BFcrmTAIdxCN4-SmboGdZ1eFHhzGm_L8z9yaevA&t=w&mra=ls&z=5

Anyone heading the same way? CB chatter helps me drive longer :)

I will be iron butting it and plan to do the drive 4/29-4/30 with a late 4/30 or 5/1 AM arrival.

Ahhh I am familiar with that drive....relocated from FL to CO in 2001. Folks live in FL and I have driven that route several times.

Just remember that the view between KC and Denver, 8hrs worth, won't change. It's also the reason in my opinion cruise control was invented.

See you in Moab,

My GX can maintain 90 highway, let's hope 5-0 isn't reading this :P

Imagine how long you'd be able to drive with crystal clear ham radio! ;)

Actually, when you're on the big roads, nothing beats listening/talking to the big trucks on the CB. Drive safe and remember rest when you need to. Sometimes you don't realize how tired you are until it's too late.
