Anyone have some "top of the windshield frame" wiper arms they are willing to part with?

I might be able to get away with only one. Mine got crunched last fall when my hood flew open on I70. :o

I had 2 different styles on my 40, so I'm not sure what is correct for a '73. Let me know what you have.

I have one of unknown vintage that you are welcome to. Maybe I can get a picture of it at lunchtime and post it up. :D

Awesome, thanks Dan. If it matches the one decent one I have, I'll take it. :thumb:

Excellent. Thanks Ige. Looks like Amazon has those for $14 and they look pretty similar to OEM. Probably takes modern blades too?

Interesting - that is a completely different style than my '71 uses. My passenger side arm on my '71 is non-functional. When I put a new windshield in, I loosened the fasteners, then after I had the windshield in I went to tighten them up and the passenger side just spun, like it was stripped. It won't loosen or tighten. I spoke about it with Merl from Classic Cruisers when he was at the Rally and he said he had seen that happen before and I would have to cut the fastener off. It looks like a bolt but it is actually a capped nut.

Mine too, Jeff, there is a threaded stud from the wiper motor that has splines on it that the wiper arm mates with, then a capped nut. I measured mine and they are approx 9".

Dan, how long is that arm you have? I'm not sure that the connector on that one will work on mine, but I might give it a try if the length is the same.
