Look what the Easter bunny left me.
Its a 68. Un molested with 3 on the tree, vacuum shifting. Every thing works except the wiper motor. It has a 72 F motor with a header and a vac/adv distributor. The rust seams to be in the rear sill and some in the corners. not all that bad compared to some. Plan is to leave it stock. I need 1 mirror, tires, rear lift gate latch handle and exhaust. and plates. So here is my first 40. Yeah!

I have know idea. Is there a difference? I could see a "FACTORY" style soft top in tan. I like the lt blue color.

with tailgate, and what looks like a dome light on the right side of glove box and the dome light switch in the dash, yes, most likely fact soft top. are there eyebolts on each side of the dash by the doors, or holes where they might have been?

Chris, there's a pretty nice looking "stock-ish" later model 40 (Blue in color, probably a 75 or 76) parked in Evergreen for sale. If you're interested, I can get a couple of photos and info for you. I haven't seen it on Craigslist.

Threaded holes. the doors kind of cover them up.

Nuclear Lemon already spec'd it all out, My tipoff was the drop down gate and then the rplc. brown HT. Have you got the tool roll? Nice find. A survivor.

Was this your wife's number? I sent the text with the pics and got a response something to the effect of: "Who the hell are you and why are you sending me pictures of a rusty jeep?" :hill: and yes, I double checked the number you listed.
