I'm looking to source a receiver type Lunette Ring with a 3" hole, 6.25" overall diameter. The one pictured here from Northern Tool only has a 2.5" hole. Anyone have any ideas where to find one?

Not sure if you're gonna find a 3" lunette directly connected to a 2" draw bar. I think 3" rings are rated 20,000 lbs and higher, so even a Class V 2.5" draw bar would not be enough. The highest Class IV 2" is 12,000 lbs. The 3" lunettes on dump trucks and deuce and halves are I think rated to 60,000 lbs (etrailers has them, just $215).

My guess is you'll have to assemble it from a lunette plate with a draw bar adapter.

That was my thought too. I probably should just pony up for a max coupler but I'm poor right now with other truck repairs. Some one place a barrier order already.

When are those 60 series barriers going to be available?;)

Is this a M101? I assume this is the task (http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/81986-Wanted-CDN-M101-Lunette-Spring-Castle-Nut-assembly) at hand.

How to lighten your wallet by $135 for 31 lbs of iron...

Taking the standard 2" ball off the Starcraft R/T10. I like the Lunette on my M101a. It's a 3" and works great. So I don't want to experiment with a 2.5" if I can avoid it. But for $135 I'd just add the 100 more for the max coupler.

I can weld something up too for about $75 in parts. Just be nice if I could find an off the self solution.

I hesitated to suggest welding your own draw bar because that would be a major legal and insurance headache in an accident. But yeah.

I welded the receiver that the pintle is on so I'm already there ;).
