View Full Version : HELP!!! my land cruiser is stuck

Hi my name is Perry Kleespies I live in Fort Collins and I was off-roading today (april 21) out by Rustic, CO on "Sevenmile trail" when the worst case senario happened. Due to all the snow my car slid off the narrow trail and is resting against two trees. :( If any members who live in Northern Colorado are available to help me winch my car I will pay them generously. Thank you so much, and my number is (970)-216-3674.

Do you have any pictures to show how the vehicle came to rest?

I doubt I'd be able to get my truck anywhere near as far in as your Cruiser did, but I'm not far and could lend a hand. Are you along 225 or 171 somewhere or where did you end up? How far up did you make it, started climbing up from the creek?
Should be noted that FR225 is closed from April 15th to June 15th. I believe it's got to do with sediment running into the creek.

Shoot! I was wheeling in the snow with about 5 other Jeeps up there on Saturday on 171a,b,c,d,etc! I was even camped near 171a and 171b Saturday night! I didn't drive 7 mile, I took Manhattan Road. So close...
Hope you got the rig out already!

Thank you guys so much for responding! I found a towing company this morning that specializes in these types of situations. It took two winch's at the same time to recover my Land Cruiser! Im glad to know there are so many of you out there willing to help! Thank you again
