I had been looking for an FJ25 since the deal fell through on one back in 2007. Many of you have seen the daily driver thread (http://www.risingsun4x4club.org/forum2/showthread.php?t=19670). I found this beauty first...a block from my house!

I called her cutthroat because she reminded me of a cutthroat trout. Red on the bottom and the soft top will be tan.

I started a thread on mud for the restoration:

Check this out...I started the 1960 FJ25 engine today after soaking the rings in Marvel Mystery Oil. She has been sitting in a field for years!

Wow, that's awesome.

Let me get this straight: you now own TWO FJ25s? How many did they bring to the U.S.? You might now own a significant portion of all the FJ25s that remain on U.S. soil.

Land Cruisers imported by year. Not sure how many in '60, '61 and '62 would have been FJ25 or FJ40, they were both made & sold over those years, right? Could be Mike now owns 3% of the FJ25 that were imported.

1958 - 1
1959 - 61
1960 - 162
1961 - 249
1962 - 598

I think he had something like 14 at one time? And several of them ran and drove!
