Last year I was traveling to Boston regularly and couldn't put this on.

This year I'm going to Sri Lanka this month. I need my fix for Pearl Pass tough.

If your not sure what this run is look it up here.

Require small lift and a rear locker. This is a fast paced run. You'll need 4 but not always low.

Possible Friday castle peak summit.

I was hoping you were gonna say anytime between July 8-16, snow dependent. I'll do my best to be in on this. The trip reports look awesome.

I was hoping you were gonna say anytime between July 8-16, snow dependent.

It's usually never open at that time unless snowpack is WAY below normal.
2 years ago i had to push it back a week from 13 to 20th in Aug and it was only passable going cb to aspen. the drift on the cb side was shoveled prior by Terry and Ajax. we decended a good 50 yard snow field sliding down.

I ran Taylor couple weeks ago during run off, the exit out of the river was actually kinda tough a big rock is right in the middleof the climb out,if its muddy at all you'll need lockers, I m on 37s and got into my drive shaft and gas tank climbing out got pics if ya want um

I have a Cub Scout activity in the morning on 8/17. Someday I will make this run. Not this year, I guess. I'm the Cubmaster now, so I can't blow it off.

Would like to make this run in my new to me 80-Series. No locker but have 2.5" lift. Possible without lockers and careful wheel placement? I have never done any of these passes.

yeah, lift would be fine and actually better then locker.

Stock trucks can get through it just takes more time but this run covers a lot and if there are too many stock trucks trying to be careful and get through we get back too late. It's really only 1 spot on italian creek. although I don't know what the boulder is like that fell into the creek on taylor. I have an idea.. You have any pics ajax? we would be coming down so we won't be climbing out of the river.

Driving down be no problem ,it's going up the middle now, at least when I did it was muddy and I got into my drive shaft and gas tank skid, almost easier now to just go up the right side, the rock used to be on the right side going up next to the giant boulder and somehow is now right in the middle, I got pics I can send to your phone my iPhone wont let me post to the site

I'm in if this is still happening. Please let me know if an unlocked 80 with 2.5" lift running 33's will slow you down. I will bail out if needed.

Man, Wes...this sounds awesome. The only way I could do it is if something comes up and I'm unable to make my trip the following weekend. I don't think I can get the long weekend kitchen pass two weekends in a row and I've been planning to ride the Monarch Crest Trail on my mountain bike on Aug 24th for quite some time now. I know, I know...that's the Rally Weekend!!! But it's the only weekend the other guys I'm riding with could make it.

Well it looks like me canceling was a blessing on my end. Porter ended up in doggy ER yesterday and had surgery. He is recovering today from an obstruction. He ate my sock this time.

Glad he is doing well. My Bernese female would eat my wife's panties when she was younger. It sounds funny, but if they don't spit them back up it's a problem :o

Yah, this was #2. Next time I will have to put him down. I don't know where he finds the stuff. I think he has resorted to raiding the laundry hamper for goodies. If you did not catch the first time it was my son's pajama bottoms, the whole pants in one piece.

Wes..... I'm off Tue/Wed until Sept 22, then going Thursday/Friday off. Any chance you'd do a early October Wed-Fri trip? Pretty sure Jonharris and MtnAddict would join us.

EDIT: You'd have to drive the 100 then.... It'd be an all 100s Triple Bypass.
