Anyone have a set of OME865 rear springs for a 100 series? Maybe you are considering going bigger and want to part with your 1.5" springs? I'm your guy. Doug

Thanks for the link Steve. Looks like the 863's are 2.5" heavies for a 80 series but may work well for my 03 100 series? Anyone have an opinion on this? I may call Slee for advise. Thanks.

I just talked to Ben at Slee. He thought the 863's would achieve a 3.5" lift on a non-loaded 100 series. That is way too big for me. I just need to save my pennies and buy the OEM865 1.5" lift kit. I need to replace my tires and get an alignment soon and would like to do the whole package in one shot. Might buy a lottery ticket on my way home from work tonight.

The 863s will be like riding on bricks without a bumper, tire and gear in the back to add weight. I was very happy with the 865s as far as ride, lift and comfort.

Do they feel floppy like they did on the 80? It was worse with the 863J's... you drop off a ledge and the whole body tips over. It was a sweet upgrade to go to the stiffer Slee 4" springs from the 863J's...

is there a spring now that only gives a 2-3" lift (build truck) that's stiffer than the OME's? A Slee 4" would be too tall.

It doesnt feel floopy to me, but your welcome to take it for a drive. You can see how you like my new EMS exhaust as well. Sounds like a 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1

I think the Slee Heavy(s) cover that.

There's a good deal of 100 owners who've ditched the 863's to go to the Slee's and have been very happy.
