Hi All,

I've been back and forth about this for me and my wife's long Oregon/Cali trip and future trips. And I think it would make things a lot easier.

I have up to $1000 fund (maybe just a little bit more for a great deal on a nice tent) for a roof top tent. Unfortunately, I'm a little late to order one......I think. I need to have it mounted and ready to rock and roll by the 12th of sept.

It needs to hold at least 2 people, and be in good shape ready to roll.

any leads are appreciated!

thanks,
Jackson

Finding a roof top tent for a 1000 is gonna be tough. There is a guy on Colorado Springs craigslist with an older eezi-awn tent mounted to a trailer that he's trying to sell separately for 1500. Might be able to talk him down because there's a burn hole in one of the screens. Worth a shot anyway. Type eezi-awn in the search bar, couldn't figure out how to paste a link with my iPhone.

I've emailed this guy twice with no response. I've also emailed about the one in Longmont, also no response. I don't have a problem spending up to 1500 if a good enough deal comes along. Say an eazi awn like the one on c-list

Thanks for the reply, keep em coming :)

Romer on this forum hinted at selling his this past weekend. Not sure if he was serious or what he'd ask for it but its a lead

You should be able to find something New for $1500. Have you called around to see what shops have in stock?

Unfortunately not. the wildernest one is meant for a truck bed. I need one for the top of my 60.

I've called everyone I can think of, everything is 2weeks out min. Thanks everyone for the leads I'm still checking around. I'd rather buy used, I'll entertain anything.

Worst case is that I'll pitch a tent :)

I have been thinking about selling my mombassa....nothing wrong with it..fixed some of the stuff that was wrong.

its not fancy...but it works for exactly what it was made for..been on a few long trips with it..john took it on a west coast long ass trip too..

I am too lazy to go find the thread where I bought it..but if you search something like "bolt an expedition"..you can probably find it here
where I bought it from nakman.

pm me if interested

Edit..k I found it..
bolt an expedition was indeed tims phrase lol
