View Full Version : Camping Lab - last to know

I guess I'm the last one to figure out that Camping Lab has gone out of business? Was wondering why it would take 7+ weeks to ship my RTT changing room. Was also wondering why my emails weren't being responded to.
wth.. thanks, Fernando.

Sorry to hear that Tim. It was discussed in this thread http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/79169-Camping-lab
If you used paypal or a credit card, maybe you can dispute it

Wow, nice thread, couple of those guys a little miffed, eh? Yeah will have to research how I paid at home... was hoping it would be easier than that, was going to call today but obviously can't get the number off the web site.
Sooo... all of their tents are the same as others, right? Anyone know what changing room would be compatible then? Would like to have in time for Moab again, in October.

We made an annex/changing room for our ARB by lightly modifying some wallyworld room for a standard square awning, all in about $40 and some velcro. We did this after Fernanndo told me he had no awnings in stock and didn't know when or if he ever would again (web page said "accepting pre-orders" at that time).
Things have been quiet over there:
Hope you don't get hosed.
I'll assume firstname.lastname@example.org is no longer valid either but that's the last contact I had.

Ok I researched my emails a little closer, and while I have a transaction record from July 7th I don't actually show any payment going out. So for the record I don't appear to be out any money, and hereby rescind any allegations to the contrary, to that end I will edit post #1. I stand corrected.
Still bummed Camping Lab couldn't pull it off, but I know how it is, selling expo junk can be a low margin business at times.
Andy I'll have to check out what you have, thanks. Also just need to check out some other tents, if they all have those round channels in the bottom then how different could the annex even be? I thought the annex Josh had in Ouray looked pretty nice, liked the zipper/access on the vehicle side http://cascadiatents.com/Annex_Changing_Rooms.htm?m=84&s=550
