an important selling item would be if it had the timing belt and water pump done. Looks like it may have the sticker. If so, I would add that and the mileage shown on the sticker

Too bad he wouldn't want to trade it for my '40... Good looking 4Runner.

It is nice, Rachel has been missing hers and is thinking of giving up the Scion for another wheeler. No Ian, she doesn't want a 40 :)

Under hood sticker indicates timing belt was done at 61K, but I'll look through some of the maintenance records when I get home to verify what was done and when. Thanks for the question Ken, that's sort of an important thing I didn't mention!

A doc Idelle works with, he and his wife were our guests at CM 2013, has been looking for one like this. I sent him a message and hopefully we can get over to look at it soon.

That would be good, if it was at 61K miles, then it would be due soon

Thanks BJ, we bought the truck and daughterofromer rides again

Very comforting seeing her in my rear view in a built 4runner following me :D

Early Notice that Rachel is looking at 5th gens and won't be doing anything till after Moab. Since she bought it put on White Knuckle sliders, skid plate and storage drawers. Just replaced the battery. Have run synthetic oil

This isnt a for sale ad as it may be some time before she finds what she is looking for. However, if someone is looking for a 2002 4runner, well built and taken care of, wanted to put this on your radar

I'm potentially interested when the time comes, depending on all the details.

Thanks Guys. BTW we did the Timing Belt, water pump, replaced the belts and some other work so all the service is up to date and had a fresh synthetic oil change last week.

She will likely start looking after Moab

It has some pretty severe front sag, possibly from the over sized heavy front bumper!

you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but I would disagree. It isnt Sag, its called Rake. When you lift a vehicle you want a little rake when the rear is empty so when loaded up it won't sag in the rear

Since then we added the rear drawer system and I think it sits fine.

These are on Red Cone last year with the white knuckle sliders

We are interested! My girlfriend is on the hunt right now, timing might work out perfect.

Perfectly put, people are all about the leveling kits and I don't get it. My trucks raked cause I use it. Same with my last.

Will post further update after Moab, this May.

I am within walking distance to public transportation, which I take to work, so have not put many miles on it.. (in addition to having all updated maintenance and general care)

Want her to go to a good home :)

Rach- You need to update your signature to 2002 4runner, that's your old one :D

Good point (especially if you are towing a trailer). I usually don't have a lot of weight in the back consistently, even when I do the back end doesn't move really at all. Personal preference I guess, I like mine looking straight. I have coil overs that adjust to get it level.
