View Full Version : New hj61 need parking/storage advice near Denver airport

Hey guys I'm new here. Few of the members on mud pointed me this way.

I just bought a hj61 out west and was planning on driving it home to NC. Something came up and I have to be home by the 3rd. Rather than rush home I decided to enjoy some time out west (not as much as planned) and ship the truck back and fly out of Denver. After doing the mathe shipping and flights were cheap enough to go this route. So I need a place to stash the truck for a few days if I can't coordinate with the hauler to meet me at the airport the day I fly out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Currently in Moab headed to CO for rest of the week if anybody wants to go wheeling let me know. Wish I could stay longer but life is getting in the way. Here's a couple poser shots bc who doesn't love pics. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Looks like you must have driven it "down under" to Antarctica :hill:

Not sure why pic is posted upside down

Saw that white one on eBay awhile back then it went on mud when it got to Colorado. I got a 5spd and cable lockers for far less than he is asking so I think I did alright

Not sure if it would help but you could leave it at our place in Boulder and Take the bus to the airport from here. Hauler could pick it up on the street which is accessible by big rig. Just lemme know.

I can take it back to Moab in two weeks to exercise it for you. Gotta keep the diesel seals all lubed properly ya know!

Thanks for all the offers guys.mi sorted it out with the hauler I left it in there gated lot here in Denver. Wish I could have stay longer but life gets in the way of fun sometimes. Hopefully I'll be back next fall with the truck. Gonna take the winter and get her right. Hopefully next year I can spend a couple months out here. I will get up with y'all next time and hopefully do some wheeling.

I'm in broomfield and have a 3 car garage, and I'd be happy to store it for you for a few days or up to a week or two. I'm about 35 minutes to the airport. I'm in a suburban neighborhood, and access shouldn't be an issue if its not going on an 18 wheeler, we could always make arrangements to drive it to get it on a hauler too.

Shoot me a pm if you need help.
