Early this year the pilot bearing froze up on the old girl and I've decided to make the move to a V8. So, I will have the Jim C modified carb, header, PTO winch, 3 spd, trans, along with an otherwise great running F engine (except a really loud squeal) up for grabs soon. I won't be doing the swap right away so if you need any of the above but want to see or hear them run, let me know.

I'm interested in the PTO for sure. Let me know if Terry passes on it.

Lol Matt! I have been unhappy with the F power for awhile and have been wanting to do this conversion anyway. My last 40 spoiled me I guess. Now that the truck is about done, I can move on to this project.
I am 99% sure I'm not going to be able to use the PTO winch with the larger block. I believe the tcase will have to go with it for the output and floor shifter. I will know more when I get it apart.

Hmmmm, anyone headed to SLC? I've got a '73 FJ40 that needs a motor/trans.
