So I've been thinking a lot about some of the past Ghost Town Runs that Nathaniel lead. Fun, fun runs.

Thought it might be fun to get another one going this coming summer since it's been a while. Have not looked at maps or figured out dates yet, buys with Outlaws;). Just thought i'd get people thinking about it again. Maybe get a date figured out that works for everybody and go from there?

I Would be in. This is something that I did growing up at the family property east of silverton. We have so many cool ghost towns in Colorado to explore and it would be a great event for the club.

Sounds like a blast. I love exploring ghost towns. Unfortunately my summer isn't going to allow me to do anything more than weekend day runs this year... :(

I'd love to make a ghost town run at some point. Gonna subscribe to this one.

This was my wife's favorite RS run. I'd love to do this again. It's difficult for us to find a free weekend these days. What about doing it over the July 4th weekend this year?

That last one around Hancock/Tomichi/Williams was a great spot. I wouldn't mind going back there - but there are lots of choices. Very fun weekend!

We enjoyed going to these, as well.. Maybe we can rally Nathaniel and family to join... 4th of July might be a tough sell with annual neighborhood/family activities.. I man a BBQ grill at our neighborhood parade..:D

Those are the 3 days after my birthday! Might have to take a trip to celebrate!

These have always seemed to me to be the most family-friendly runs, I would love to get the family up and going on this one again!

August 8, 9 & 10?

Have it planned to hike Pavilion point the Friday before for Colorado Day. So wouldn't be able to do another long weekend right after.

We could do the weekend of the 15th, or a weekend in end of July, close enough to celebrate:cheers:.

:twocents: August 15th puts the RS Rally following weekend (23rd) and Ouray the weekend after that (30th). Might be a bit crowded date wise for some folks. :twocents:

Subscribed! This is a great idea, and something I had planned doing some solo this summer anyway. I have a couple of books on only mining towns around Colorado that I've been leafing through for some ideas.
