Hey all, picking up a 85 Fj60 with a H55 tonight. Looking for a couple things so I can make it to Cruise Moab with my brother. I am new to owning one, but have helped build several trucks including a '84 60 and a '79 40 that is currently being built.

It's stock minus the H55 and it has been de-smogged.

I have rear lift shackles and rear shocks, but looking for the rest for a lift.

Looking for good rear springs, hopefully with a leaf added or a helper to bring my saggy rear end up a bit.

Straight front bumper

Rust free lower tail gate.

Tail light lenses

Miscellaneous front fascia pieces. If I can remember correctly, the trim around the headlights is cracked.

Any other parts to make it more trail worthy...Lift, lunchbox lockers, 33's etc.

If anybody has some of this stuff taking up some space, let me know!
I live in Boulder, but travel frequently to Denver area and Summit county. I would also be happy to trade TIG, MIG and fab services for any of the above!

Thanks,
-Adam

If I were you, I would get an OME lift-spring kit instead of replacing your saggy stock rears only with a less saggy set coupled with an extended shackle and helper spring. A full OME set is affordable (Cruiser Outfitters in Utah is a great source with excellent service, very fast shipping, and good prices). This would raise both ends of your truck 2.5-3 inches, and increase the quality of the ride and trail capability all in one fell swoop. Then you would have room for those 33s. It is not just about the body clearance, but perhaps more importantly about how well the suspension system works. But if you really want to stick with your idea of replacing just the rear springs and using the extended shackles, I have a set of springs, and a pair of helper leaves, uninstalled, that I could probably get back from the friend I gave them to, since he didn't use them. PM me if you are interested, but I strongly recommend the OME option.

Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters also has replacement tail light lenses that are cheap and pretty good. 801-563-1277

Welcome. :thumb:

Will you need to get the smog gear back on to pass emissions? I assume you live in Boulder? That would be a priority unless you have it registered somewhere else.

I agree with Sascha about the lift. OME is a great upgrade.

For the front headlight parts and tail light lenses, I would check SOR 4x4. They had a deal recently on the rear lenses and probably have the headlight trim.

Good luck.

I have a 83 fj60 that runs/drives kinda lol. It has 33" tires but they are a little worn. It has a running 2f with all emissions and smog equipment on it (smog pump will need rebuilt or deviened) and has a decent lower tail gate some surface rust. Truck is in arvada. Clean title I'll take $1200 for the whole thing. Fell free to call or text 479-644-6532

It has a 3" body lift, and i need the whole truck gone. It's at my shop and my shop is being sold (along with the house it's attached to lol)
