thinking of removing my flares perminately and wondering what people have done filling holes. I have read aluminum tape with durabak and such but looking for other options possibly. let me know!

those are curb feelers for rocks and trees
leave them on until they get ripped off by something :)

Dont think the stickers will fare well in Summit. Not sure I want to paint plugs either but we will see what happens.

Took/ripped mine off a few years ago. Never did anything with the holes. Come to think of it, I still have a few of the yellow flare fasteners in a few of the holes.

Or tape the outside of the hole, fill with jb weld or bondo on the inner fender well and use touch up paint on the outside after you peel the tape off.

Yeah I could always glass it from behind and bondo it. But thats to much work for this truck. Nylon plugs it is. Or they can just be speed holes, nothings lighter than a hole right?

How about something like this?

Or just google white plastic plug.

I still can't believe I have not destroyed one on a rock. I've been able to pop them back on every time. But when I do pull them I'm doing the tape and bed-liner method. Probably next summer.

I will probably run plugs for now and durabak with glass or something like that after I get everything else done.

I have done it. I welded the holes closed and ground them back flat. Finished it with bondo and sanded that down. I am in the process of ordering the U-pul raptor spray to finish off the process. Personally I like the look more without the flares

That is similar to what Bruce (60wag) did after his flare removal.
