Who will be the first 200 series owner in the club? Long time member that's moving up the corporate ladder? New guy that picked one up and then found Rising Sun? Cast your vote!

I should note that Christo, while certainly a long time member, doesn't really count since his situation is "unique" being that it's a business investment to be an owner. But I guess he was technically the first.

At the present time you can pick up a lightly used 2008 for around $35-40k with just under 100,000 miles.

I was going to buy one new until I found out they start at $90,000. That is stupid and unreasonable no matter how you try to justify it.

I think nakman is leaning heavily that way unless the old Taco jumps in his way...

Yeah it's true, I want one. If someone made me a killer offer on my 100 to offset half the 200 I'd think hard about it. :o

I saw a new one at the dealer -- sticker price was $80K. I wonder what they negotiate down to.

Semi-built ones pop up on MUD every once on a while in the $40k range. Sitting in the drivers seat of Christo's made me mildly jealous, but not enough to drop that kind of coin. It wouldn't be hard to be $60-70k into a used one after building it up.

How much bigger is the 200 than a 100? This may be a topic for another thread, but how much loss in off road capability between the 100 and 200?

I have to admit...I've eyeballed a few 200s lately!

I think it's actually a cattle guard taken from an old locomotive.

The cooling fan (or fans) in that thing better be darn good 'cause it won't be getting any air through that grill!

After towing my camper over 1000 miles this past week I'd be lying if said the thought did not go through my head, many times, almost constantly really

The cost is pretty hard to swallow.
