After checking out Isaac's post, it reminded me that I too need to find a source for cabinet grade (think that's what it's called) plywood. I'm looking for the type that has a higher number of thinner plies and doesn't flex as much as the cheaper Home Depot stuff. I was able to find little pieces of it at the big box, but I need a whole sheet of 3/8" thick, or whatever the thickness is that's slightly less than 1/2".

Willing to go way down to Denver or even PRoB (people's republic of Boulder).

Thanks for any recs!

You could try Austin Hardwoods in Denver.

I think they are open in the mornings on Saturdays.

Lumber yards are best but home depot also sells cabinet grade ply (more plies of the thinner stuff) and they are actually cheaper then the lesser quality stuff (bigger plies)!

Maybe http://www.jordanslumber.com/index.php in Arvada. If not them, they'll order it or send you to the right place.

Also...is it a fact that the more thinner plies will flex LESS than the other stuff?

We've used Austin a lot. They are fantastic. I've also heard great things about Front Range lumber.

Consolidated Hardwoods its in Broomfield off Vance.

Lots of premium grade cabinetry plywood... Bruce Miller turned me on to them years ago.

I've been dealing with the Cincinnati branch of Paxton for twenty eight years now . . . but they also have a Denver branch.

Thanks, guys. I've got to hang my new buffet cabinets first, then onto the next project requiring plywood. At least now I have a couple of sources for the good plywood.
