Hi all not trying to drop a drama bomb here but we could really use some help. My brother is 30 years old. Just had his first child a baby girl 8 months ago and has a stay at home wife. On Thursday he was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma. He has several tumors and will be starting radiation next week. Because of this illness and its severity he is no longer able to work. He is a 8 you navy veteran so the va hospital will be covering all of his medical. I have a fund started for him to help pay his rent and supply groceries for him and his family as he goes through this long and hard fight. If anyone is willing to donate it would mean the world for us. This strong man fought to protect your freedom and life as you know it so please show him the same respect. http://www.gofundme.com/bfui50 this is the link that you can donate to. Thank you all for your support. If I need to I will sell my 60 to pay the bills myself

I feel for you and your family.
It is a very difficult thing.

My wife had a large oligoastrocytoma brain tumor removed in October of 2009. It came back in January 2013. April of this year she finished 15 months straight of chemo.

So I can relate to the desperation and emotion of the situation. with you and your family. Casting a wide net for support of all types is definitely a good idea. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts go out to your brother and his family, also thank him for his service for us. I really hope he pulls through it and is able to live a long healthy life with his loved ones. It's got to be a tough battle.

Update: got the prognosis for my brother yesterday and its bitter sweet... the type of cancer has is extremely rare especially for his age. He will be staring chemo on monday which will be the first of many treatments that he will receive for the rest of his life. The cancer he has is treatable but not cure able. He will have relapse after relapse after relapse. The cold hard truth is that his cancer is terminal with no time put on it. If he survives the first treatment then he will possibly live another 5 plus years. Luckily for him we have an extremely stubborn family that will not give up and I personally know that weather he lives 1 year or 50 years that everyone of them will be ****ing amazing! Ive always looked up to my brother and I always will. Stay strong live long and move on! I ****ing love you cody! And sorry for all the emotions that I may display on here or in person but anyone who has been here before understands how hard this is. I will personally be supporting him mentally and financially until he passes or is able to do so on his own. Any help we can get will be greatly appreciated

thanks everyone for you support
