Hardtop is going on this weekend I think. Snow in the mountains has made for some cold drives lately.

softtop will probably go on in october...oddly, it was on all summer long, and i just took it off a month ago.

I was thinking you were a native Drew. The rule is put the top on after the second snow. Don't listen to the hype, the news people always get real excited about nothing. It will be 70 and sunny just give it a bit:D

Put mine on for the TBP. Glad I did too, nice as the weather was it was nice to have heat and protection from the wind for the long drive there/back. MARTIN was still softtop/no doors though, so he'll prolly give me grief :hill:

Last winter I pushed the limits and got wet in the fall/winter real bad as well as in the spring, so this year I put the hardtop on earlier and am taking it off later next spring. I'm getting old :hill:

'Root's right though...it's gonna warm up again down here for a little bit before winter really sets in...

I used to wait until the bikini top would get full of snow and sag real good to where you can't sit without it resting on your head. Try the "push with your hand technique in the middle" and it all runs off the sides. After about the second time ariving at work with snow down the back of your neck from that sharp rt turn and getting your ass soaking wet even through the black plastic bag on your seat.

Yeah, I will give it a shot next weekend. I am going to try to instal a headliner while it is all out.

Anyone handy with a sewing machine?

I am thinking of a white vinyl with a bit of foam backing, anyone ever tried this, I can have my top on a set of saw horses and work with it flat on its lid. Shouldn't be too hard

Thanks-

Drew

I had an idea...:D

How about a hardtop party at the end of the season. Instead of everybody fighting with theirs, get a bunch of guys together, and go around and put tops on. Or has that been tried before?
