forgive me if this has been covered - the search is giving me an error.

I recently purchased a Bestop bikini top for my '75 FJ-40. It says if I don't have the factory soft top channel on the windshield (I don't), I can pick one up from "a local source". Any idea where to go for this? Would a Toyota dealership be able to order one?

TIA

I really hesitated on clicking on this topic. I thought it might involve cable TV...

You'd be better off buying a new windshield channel from Bestop or a Bestop dealer. You can get it here (http://www.4softtops.com/search_result.asp?vYear=1967&vMake=TOYOTA&vModel=LAND+CRUISER&Category=Windshield+Channels&Description=Windshield+Channels) - $19.95
Part number: 51209-01

Perfect! Thank you! Odd that all the Bestop documentation says to get it elsewhere...

BTW, rumour has it Specialty Top Company is being sold, or going out of business. If you need a soft top or bikini, you might contact them and see if they will "deal". :p:
