Is anyone else going?
I am on my way to Iowa.
Never been to MIOBI.
Taking my new to me 1992 fj80.
Freshly installed rear locker. Still waiting for my sliders.

I don't really know anything about the event. Sounds fun though!

There was a Martin that showed up with his wife and 3 young boys. He was from Denver. I did not get his last name. Green Lexis.

It was a great weekend. Small turnout but a great group of people!
Only a short 1000 mile round trip.

Nick, hope the 80 impressed you even more than at Black Hills. The mighty 3FE is a tractor motor and that should have worked really well for you in Iowa.
D'oh!

Steve , the 3fe shinned when needed! Impressed me on a few hillclimbs! Cleaned the cobwebs out.
The people that complain of lack of power or speed need to get off the interstate. Ha ha
It did not take long for me to remove the anchor they call a hitch. Gained me a 4" lift on the rear. Lol
Tree stump at at the top of a slippery hill climb put me to a abrupt stop and tree wedged in the rim with my steering wheel with a temporary 3 o'clock position. Never lost air. Practiced proper winching techniques getting that pickup back on 4 wheels . The 80 flexed great. Great group of folks out in Iowa
